Do I delete the Digimon that was played by this card's inherited effect at the end of my opponent's turn? And if it isn't deleted, is it still prevented from digivolving?

Yes, it's deleted upon the deletion timing. If it isn't deleted by another effect when it would be deleted by this effect, it's still prevented from digivolving.
