No, you can't. If this card's [When Attacking] effect activates, you must trash at least 1 card from digivolution cards. However, if you choose to not activate this effect, it won't activate, and no digivolution cards will be trashed.

No, the 2 Digimon or Tamers aren't deleted at the same time. You repeat this card's [When Attacking] effect of deleting 1 of your opponent's Digimon or Tamers with the lowest play cost for each card trashed from digivolution cards. In this case, you trashed 2 digivolution cards, therefore you first delete 1 of your opponent's Digimon or Tamers with the lowest play cost, then you again delete 1 of their Digimon or Tamers with the lowest play cost.
