They become face-up security cards that remain revealed. Other than rules that specify face-up security cards, the rules apply in the same manner as standard security cards.
I have 1 [Junomon] and 1 yellow or purple [TS] trait Digimon. When both of those 2 of my Digimon would be deleted at the same time, the <Scapegoat> gained from this card's effect was activated by 1 of my Digimon, and that [Junomon] was deleted. At such times, I no longer have a Digimon with [Junomon] in its name so <Scapegoat> is lost, but is my Digimon that activated <Scapegoat> prevented from being deleted?
