Q1 Q1680
When can this card's 1st effect activate?
Show ruling
After declaring a digivolution and revealing this card, you can activate the effect immediately before choosing the card to digivolve. When you choose to activate it, if the "by" condition is met, you may also choose one of your Tamers in addition to Digimon for the card to digivolve. The chosen Tamer is also treated as a level 6 Digimon during this digivolution.

Q2 Q1681
Can I choose to not digivolve after activating this card's 1st effect?
Show ruling
No, you can't. After declaring a digivolution and activating this card's 1st effect, you must choose one of your cards to digivolve and then digivolve it, just as in the procedure for normal digivolution. In addition, you can't declare digivolution into this card in the first place unless there is a card on the field that you can digivolve.

Q5 Q1684
Can I return just 9 cards from my hand or trash to the bottom of the deck for this card's 1st effect?
Show ruling
No, you can't. A "by" condition can't be met if only some of the required actions are performed. The conditions for this inherited effect require you to return the specified number of cards to the bottom of the deck.

Q8 Q1687
Can I use BT18-096 [Lord of Devastation and Rebirth]'s [Main] effect to choose one of my Digimon, then activate this card's 1st effect and digivolve one of my Tamers?
Show ruling
No, you can only digivolve the chosen Digimon. You use BT18-096 [Lord of Devastation and Rebirth]'s [Main] effect to choose one of your Digimon or Tamers, then digivolve the chosen card. You can activate this card's 1st effect, but you can't change the card to digivolve.

Q9 Q1688
If I activate EX1-071 [Win Rate: 60%!]'s [Main] effect and then declare digivolution of this card, do I perform EX1-071 [Win Rate: 60%!]'s "would digivolve" effect processing or activate this card's 1st effect first?
Show ruling
You activate this card's 1st effect first. You declare digivolution of this card, then activate this card's 1st effect immediately before choosing the card to digivolve. After that, you choose your Digimon to digivolve and process EX1-071 [Win Rate: 60%!]'s "would digivolve" effect. If you would digivolve from a Tamer, EX1-071 [Win Rate: 60%!]'s effect can't be processed.

Q10 Q1689
If this card digivolves from a Tamer that was played this turn, can it attack in the same turn?
Show ruling
No, it can't. Even if a card digivolves from a card that was placed on the field in the same turn, it can't attack during that turn. It can only attack in the turns after it's played.

If a Tamer with a [Security] effect as its lower text digivolves into this card, is that Tamer card's lower text gained as an inherited effect when it's a digivolution card?
Show ruling
No, it isn't. Lower text only becomes an inherited effect when it's marked as an "Inherited Effect".
