Can I use this card's [On Play] [When Digivolving] effect to link a card that doesn't have <Link>?

Does this card's [All Turns] effect trigger even when a card would get linked by an effect to an already linked card whose link card is trashed and replaced?

I used <Link +X> and have a Digimon that has multiple link cards including this card. Can I use this card's Link effect to trash one of that Digimon's link cards other than this card?
