It refers to a card that contains the specified text or icon in its name, traits, effects, inherited effects, (Rule), digivolution requirements, DNA digivolution, DigiXros requirements, burst digivolve, App Fusion, Link, or Assembly requirements.  For example, a card with [Knightmon] in its text would include cards with the name [DarkKnightmon] and cards with the text [Knightmon] in their effects.

Multiple effects trigger when this card digivolves. In what order can they be activated?

I used this card's [When Digivolving] [When Attacking] effect to trash an Option card from digivolution cards and then use the trashed Option card.  Can I then activate the used Option card's "when this card is trashed from digivolution cards" effect?

Accepted Answer

No, you can't.  A used Option card is treated as not being in any area until its [Main] effect has been resolved and the card would be trashed.  Upon the timing when a card is no longer considered a card in the trash, it will be considered to be placed in a different area, therefore the effect can't activate.
